Overview
Driven and goal-oriented, I have built a legislative and legal client portfolio that includes start-ups and Fortune 500 companies in the pharmaceutical, transportation, automotive/mobility, health care, unmanned and manufacturing industries, as well as the non-profit and trade association sectors.
Named by Super Lawyers as one of “Virginia’s Rising Stars” in the category of government relations, and a “2019 Legal Elite” in the category of Legislative/Regulatory/Administrative by Virginia Business, I am often described as “determined—a person who won’t stop until the job is done.”
As a lawyer/lobbyist who has a background in public relations, I understand the importance of clear and concise messaging. In 2019 I was awarded the Burton Award for my innovative writing on robots. My three greatest strengths are my problem-solving abilities, candor and innovation. I am not afraid of saying what needs to be said in a way that is truthful, yet constructive. I am constantly curious and thinking about the future—forecasting, predicting and developing innovative solutions to complex problems that enable my clients to expand their reach.
